An Australian survey has recently revealed that plasma televisions, Sony's Playstation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 are seriously power hungry gadgets. In the survey they said people should really turn off there gadgets at the power source and not leave them on standby as they still consume a fair amount of electricity. Now I'm far from the greenest person on the planet and nor do I intend on becoming one lol, but given the current financial climate I actually think I might take note and do this with my plasma television and Xbox 360 just to see if my electricity bill actually goes down at all.

Right haven't done a top 100 on the man blog for a while, I think previously I've only done 1 so time to do another. The top 100 is just a chart of what the most popular keywords from search engines to manblogo are. There is actually far more than 100 phrases as we've had over 5,000 visitors this month alone! Seriously the weird stories we keep finding for this section of the mens blog are getting more and more obscure with time. Today on Reuters its being reported about a man in Taiwan climbing into his dead girlfriends morgue freezer!

Right its all been pretty quiet on the man blog and just to quickly fill you in I'm buying my first flat, well funky bachelor pad is what it will be. So anyway I had a £25 voucher for Waitrose from work so thought ah I can go get myself a new cheap toaster for my new kitchen (I haven't moved in yet by the way). When I was looking I saw a really cool looking toaster and thought ah that'll do, then I noticed it was a Porsche toaster and for £110 its not cheap lol. Yes as well as smoking pipes there are Porsche toasters who would have guessed!

Sexy girl Sarah Michelle Gellar star of cult television show Buffy The Vampire Slayer has been baring all for charity Coalition of Skin Diseases in America. Ok thats a right mouth full but at least we get a sexy naked picture of Sarah Michelle Gellar to make up for it. The naked pictures (see below) we auctioned off online to raise cash and awareness for the charity.

The picture below is of the new 300 bhp Audi TT Clubsport which was recent taken in Germany. I have to say it looks a lot nicer and more aggressive than the previous roadster Audi TT which looked like a bubble car lol. The engine is the same 2.0 liter turbocharged motor that powers the Audi S3 and is of course 4 wheel drive.

Portsmouth have beaten Cardiff City by a single 37th minute goal from Nigerian striker Kanu to claim the FA Cup at Wembley. The game shown on BBC television wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination although Portsmouth  and Harry Redknapp won't care having managed to get there hands on some silverware this season which is there first since 1939.

I can't claim to know much about the world of HiFi and audio, but I do know the sound of a good set of speakers when I hear them. I haven't heard these gorgeous looking Amphion Xenon floor standing loudspeakers yet but if the noise they produce is as good as they look I'd certainly have a pair in my flat.

Another gadget for our virtual bachelor pad this time although being marketed as an Armani Television is actually made by Samsung. Apparently this TV will come in both 46 and 52 inch versions and uses full 1080p LCD television technology. Thats enough of the boring details, to keep it simple the picture on the Armani / Samsung television should be more than good enough to watch the football on with your mates and a cold 6 pack.

Might as well get the Premiership football fixtures for next weekends matches in early. Fixtures are for games being played between 26/04/08 and 02/05/08. The biggest game is obviously Manchester United's championship clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but my second pick of the weekends football action is Everton versus Aston Villa.
