Our first weird news story is from Germany where news agency Reuters have been reporting that a thief used a flower pot to steal a 150,000 Euro 997 Porsche Turbo. The owner who lives in the German city of Bonn was reversing the sports car out of his garage when he heard a scrapping noise, so he got out of his car and saw a flower pot stuck behind the rear wheel. As he bent down to remove the flowerpot the ingenious thief pushed the Porsche owner out of the way, jumped behind the wheel and drove off with the silver supercar.
Police said "All the shocked man could do was jump to one side to avoid
being run over." Admittedly the owner of the Porsche was 56 years old
but if someone tried stealing my car which is unfortunately not a
Porsche 997 Turbo I'd have hung onto the bonnet until the thief gave it
back lol.
