Alfa 8C Spider

Ok so everyone knows I absolutely adore the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, we'll now I think the Italian car maker Alfa Romeo has just given me something else to fall in love with the 8C Spider. Losing the roof hasn't harmed it at all, still looks absolutely stunning, actually I'll stick my neck out and say I prefer it to the hardtop version!

Sunderland manager Roy Keane has spoken out in support of the recently proposed idea of Premiership football games being played around the world. So far the proposal has met a pretty mixed response from being praised to severally criticised. But according to comments made by Roy Keane today he believes change is a good thing for the English Premiership.

Blind Hole-In-One!

More weird news this time from Florida where apparently a 92 year old blind man has shocked his friends by hitting a hole-in-one! How a blind man plays golf I don't know but his hole-in-one was a 110 yard five iron shot and his first in 60 years of playing. Shame there is no video of the hole-in-one hit by Leo Fiyalko at the Cove Cay County Club in Florida but his friends have presented him with a plaque to mark the amazing achievement.

Ok seriously unlikely but being slightly ill and not getting out that much this weekend I've had plenty of time to spare just drooling over the gorgeous Aston Martin V8 Vantage. As beautiful as it is I'm fully aware that it highly unlikely that I'll ever be able to own what I think it one of the best looking cars in production at the moment. Actually apart from its bigger brother the DB9 and that Alfa 8C Competizione I can't think of anything in the same kind of league (feel free to comment that I'm wrong and have over looked other cars, I don't mind being proved wrong).

Yup I'm afraid its that time of year again fellas, time to sit at work scratching your head wondering what on earth to do for Valentines day. For those of you having this dilemma just send your better half some flowers then take her out for a meal (book the table now if your planning to do this). Personally this year I've decided to go with a totally alternative idea instead of sending the crap and then going to an over priced restaurant crammed with lots of other idiots only able to eat whatever is on the easy to prepare set menu.

Finally some good sport is being shown on normal television from this weekend with the much welcomed return of the Six Nations rugby tournament on BBC One. All three games are being shown and I can't wait as apart from the FA Cup we've been starved of decent sports on normal broadcasting channels.
