Yup I'm afraid its that time of year again fellas, time to sit at work
scratching your head wondering what on earth to do for Valentines day.
For those of you having this dilemma just send your better half some
flowers then take her out for a meal (book the table now if your
planning to do this). Personally this year I've decided to go with a
totally alternative idea instead of sending the crap and then going to
an over priced restaurant crammed with lots of other idiots only able
to eat whatever is on the easy to prepare set menu.
What's my idea? Simple, to just bugger off down the pub lol. Ok ok like
most of us would actually be able to get away with it without getting
daggers for the next year, but really I hate Valentines that much I
really can't be bothered. Its only some day thats been totally over
marketed so now women will moan about us if we don't do whatever it is
the marketing companies have told them that us blokes should be doing
for them! Its crazy really, so this year I'm going down the pub. Then
the week after I'll take the fairer half to a seriously nice place with
a full menu and without all the other annoying couples arguing over if
they should have wine or not.
Ok I'm lucky, but you really should try doing the flowers then going to a decent restaurant at a less busy time if you can get away with it. Alternatively your other half will get so mad she'll dump you and you'll have peace and quite when the football is on TV, you can't lose lol.
