I can't claim to know much about the world of HiFi and audio, but I do know the sound of a good set of speakers when I hear them. I haven't heard these gorgeous looking Amphion Xenon floor standing loudspeakers yet but if the noise they produce is as good as they look I'd certainly have a pair in my flat.

Another gadget for our virtual bachelor pad this time although being marketed as an Armani Television is actually made by Samsung. Apparently this TV will come in both 46 and 52 inch versions and uses full 1080p LCD television technology. Thats enough of the boring details, to keep it simple the picture on the Armani / Samsung television should be more than good enough to watch the football on with your mates and a cold 6 pack.

Might as well get the Premiership football fixtures for next weekends matches in early. Fixtures are for games being played between 26/04/08 and 02/05/08. The biggest game is obviously Manchester United's championship clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but my second pick of the weekends football action is Everton versus Aston Villa.

Haven't added any new videos to the blog for big boys recently so here's a new one for you. Again its a music video (running theme going on here I know) from The Last Shadow Puppets and the first single release The Age Of The Understatement which I am really loving. I'd be very surprised if anyone on here hasn't already heard of The Last Shadow Puppets as they are The Arctic Monkeys Alex Turner's side project. The Aston Martin used in the new James Bond film Quantum Of Solace has been crashed into the Italian Lake Garda. The British sports car was being delivered to the movie set in heavy rain when the driver lost control around a tight corner and the Aston Martin DBS ploughed off the road and into the lake.

If we're all honest we would be able to admit that most of us could do with losing a few pounds around the waistline. Well it seems Nintendo have decided to take the boredom out of exercise with the forthcoming release of Wii Fit on the Nintendo Wii. It looks like a pretty cool gadget with two footpads that measure the treasure being applied to them. Although I think it Wii Fit will hit the newspapers after a load of the units break from super fat people using them!

Manchester United seem to be securing the long term services of there English players after announcing new deals have been reached with Micheal Carrick, (the over rated and highly dislikable) Wes Brown and Rio Ferdinand. The length of the new contracts has not been disclosed and was announced to Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson by chief executive David Gill today.

Yup its sale time in the computer games industry especially with the excellent Microsoft Xbox 360 (who would have thought excellent and Microsoft would ever make it into the same sentence lol). Anyway they have just dropped the cheapest priced Xbox 360 now named the Xbox 360 Arcade to just £159.00 which I personally think is a bargain.

So you've managed to get enough money together for a deposit on your bachelor pad which at the moment if a hard thing to do or you already have somewhere to call home. And now you want to furnish it with all the cool and funky furniture you can find. Well this contemporary leather sofa could be right up your street. Personally I think people will think the design is either cool and funky or just plain ostentatious lol. As you can see from the pictures below it has some huge rooly polly arms on this sofa and I just can't make up my mind if I like it or not. Apparently being made from Italian leather its weighs in at a not too bad price of $1,799.00 which is around £900.00 in our money. (not sure why I ut this under gadgets although not sure we really need a furniture category, just yet anyway). 

Recently married Katherine Heigl the sexy award winning American actress has apparently banned her new husband Josh Kelly from having "bachelor stuff" (never mess with a boys toys and especially with a mans bachelor pad lol). The couple didn't live together before tying the knot but Josh Kelly was left out of all the decorating decisions in their California marital home.

A 93 year old man in Penarth has crashed his Ford Fiesta into a Porsche Carrera 2 and a 911 outside a showroom. Its been all over thi internet today so I won't bore you repeating what everyone else has already said, but looking at the pictures the old dude didn't just crash into them he flipped his little Ford into the two Porsche's.

Want to make your bachelor pad look really stupid? Well I think I've just found the thing with this crazy looking bed with integrated TV that looks mad lol. Its apparently a modern contemporary design by Karim Rashid but I think its more retro 60's love shack in style! It comes with a built in 32 inch LCD TV with florescent lights in the top.

Just got emailed a few pictures of the 2008 model of the stunning Porsche 911 GT2 and thought I'd share the images with you all. I won't bore you ith all the details about the car though just look at the thing it looks mean and purposefully fast (although still like a squashed beetle lol).

Pretty boy boxer Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton has apparently agreed to have his own reality TV show on Sky One. I say reality TV show its a bit more like a boxing documentary behind the scenes with Ricky Hatton in the run up to his homecoming fight with Juan Lazcano on the 24th of May. The show on Sky One will be a two parter with each show being 1 hour long.

This years Premier League is quickly coming to an end and although the Premiership title could still go one of 3 ways it looks highly unlikely Manchester United wont walk as champions this football term. Still the game between Manchester United and Arsenal this weekend is the one to watch on Sunday and should provide neutrals and fans with with a entertaining game of football.

 

Manblogo has been up for a while now so I thought I'd do a mini review of where we are with the big boys blog. As I have mentioned before I haven't really been able to give it my full attention and posts entries as much as I would have liked. Work does pay the bills so comes first so staying working from 9.30am to 10.30pm its no wonder its been a bit hard to keep fresh. Anyway I thought I'd share with you the stats from the site with the top 100 phrases people have found blog by searching in the past month.

 

Manager Arsene Wenger still believes that Arsenal can walk away with 2 trophies this term with the Premiership and Champions League. He's being pretty optimistic considering they have fallen behind Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League after leading the table for much of the season and a tough fixture at Anfield against boring boring Liverpool in the Champions League.
