Malm Bed From Ikea.

| | Comments (2) | TrackBacks (0)

As I've said on the boys blog several times before I recently purchased my first bachelor pad. So being a boy my first job was to decorate the bedroom which I done pretty fast (with the help of a plasterer friend). So I had to find myself a funky bed that I can get the likes of Sara Jean Underwood, Kendra Wilkinson and Giselle Bunschen naked (yeah I should be so lucky)! Originally I was going to go for funky designer modern contemporary faux leather type bed. They do look cool on the bed shop websites but not as good when you see them in the flesh, plus I was starting to run out of money so went for the cheaper wooden option and got myself a Malm Bed from Ikea.

Finally I get back on to some football news. There are an awful lot of transfers going on in the Premiership and lower leagues at the moment so I'll just stick with the transfer thats making the sport headlines at the moment. Robbie Keane has finally left Tottenham to play his football at Liverpool. I would say the bit below is a quote taken from Robbie Keane about the move to Anfield but its more of a speech come long statement lol.

I don't know what's going on today but it seems I'm doing a good job of writing about stupid things on the man blog today. Or you could just call it winging I don't mind lol. Anyway yesterday I went into the High Street to have a beer, some food and generally look at all the girls walking around wearing not too many clothes due to the lovely weather. Also as all the sales are on I wanted to pick up a cheap DVD or two from the bargain bins so popped into Zavvi (previously Virgin Megastore) to see what is what.

Stupid Top Gear.

Well the typical thing just had to happen! Last week I ranted and raved about how much I like Top Gear and how its the only good thing on television. Then what happens yesterday? I find episode 6 of series 11 is the last in the new series!!! Just 6 episodes, come on the BBC pull your finger out and give us more of what is probably going by the BBC iPlayer the most popular TV show on terrestrial television!

No UK PS3 Price Cut.

Ray Mcguire of Sony UK has basically written any chance of there being a further price cut for the PS3 games console this year in an interview with Techradar. The UK MD of Sony Computer Entertainment also referred to the E3 games show as being similar to a plummer convention lol. However he said fans of the Sony Playstation 3 should be much more impressed with the Leipzig Games Convention which starts next month.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson believes Aston Villa should allow Gareth Barry to leave and join Liverpool to play his football. Scott Carson recently left Liverpool to join West Brom in a £3.25m deal. But it would seem he still hold Liverpool in high regards citing only wanting to play regularly as his reason for leaving.

With me having to move and decorate etc recently I haven't had much time to watch television, but thankfully I've been able to catch up with the new series of Top Gear via the BBC iPlayer at work (still no television at home). Seems like the boys are back to there best with this series although last year it was slightly hashed together with Richard Hammonds rocket car crash.

Ah finally another video on the man blog I hear you say, well yes but I have to apologise because its not great. It does however fit perfectly on the man blog as it has a bloody fast car in the Bugatti Veyron and is related rather loosely to football. Just a shame it has the winging miserable sod of a football player in Manchester United's Christiano Ronaldo. Oh and in case your wondering what exactly the point of this Cristiano Ronaldo V Bugatti Veyron video is I believe it has something to do with advertising Nike football boot, yet I'm not entirely sure lol.

Swansea manager Roberto Martinez has dismissed the rumors that he is to take the position as Alex Ferguson's number two at Manchester United football club for the 2008/2009 Premiership season. Martinez who has only one years experience as a manager was made joint favorite by bookies after Swansea City's League One title win taking the club up into the Championship.

First Bachelor Pad.

Right the man blog has been quiet again for which I can only apologise as last week I moved into my first bachelor pad. Yes yes I know its the wrong time to buy a first property, prices are going up for food and fuel and the chance of recession is looming over us. But to be honest I don't care as the feeling of moving into my first flat is just the mutts nuts and its not and investment its a home! As such I've had no internet (and no television for that matter) so haven't had a chance until today to update the blog.
