Plasma Televisions, PS3 and Xbox 360's Eat Power.

An Australian survey has recently revealed that plasma televisions, Sony's Playstation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 are seriously power hungry gadgets. In the survey they said people should really turn off there gadgets at the power source and not leave them on standby as they still consume a fair amount of electricity. Now I'm far from the greenest person on the planet and nor do I intend on becoming one lol, but given the current financial climate I actually think I might take note and do this with my plasma television and Xbox 360 just to see if my electricity bill actually goes down at all.

The Porsche toaster like most Porsche products isn't made by Porsche themselves but by Siemens and called the TT911P2. Note the have t get 911 and Porsche in the product name! Right time to go and see what other products for the home are marketed under the Porsche name (I know they do baths too).

]]> More important is the styling of this LCD television which is pretty darn nice and would look perfect hanging on the wall of any front room. My only problem with it would be it could be considered rather chavtastic having Armani written on the thing! Why don't Samsung just make a good looking television and erm well just that? Who knows, maybe they like admitting clothes companies that have no experiance of making televisions are better at them.

James Bond Aston Martin Crashes.

The Aston Martin used in the new James Bond film Quantum Of Solace has been crashed into the Italian Lake Garda. The British sports car was being delivered to the movie set in heavy rain when the driver lost control around a tight corner and the Aston Martin DBS ploughed off the road and into the lake.

If we're all honest we would be able to admit that most of us could do with losing a few pounds around the waistline. Well it seems Nintendo have decided to take the boredom out of exercise with the forthcoming release of Wii Fit on the Nintendo Wii. It looks like a pretty cool gadget with two footpads that measure the treasure being applied to them. Although I think it Wii Fit will hit the newspapers after a load of the units break from super fat people using them!

]]> It looks even better when you consider they are predicting that this summer in the UK is going to be a very wet one. But even more importantly GTA IV (Grand Theft Auto 4) is released very soon in the UK so for those without a current generation games console who are being tempted by such a high profile game have a much cheaper option to obtain it. I'm pretty tempted by the cheap price of the Xbox 360 Arcade but I might just save my pennies a little longer and get the Xbox 360 Elite instead. as you don't get a hard drive included in the Arcade model.
